I don't mean to be a bother about this but I am working budget out for A-kon which is why I would like to know, and there are some games on my girfriends list that I could also be picking up.
There are a couple more games that I am interested in as well and wondering if they will be at the booth. Again I would like to know the price range and availability.
For the Import PS2
Psyvariar 2 Ultimate Final
For the Import Dreamcast
Under Defeat Limited Edition - I have noticed you have this on ebay. if you are unable to sell it by A-kon I will be interested in it.
Border Down
Karous
Grandia 2 Special Package
July
Sorcerian
I am aware that the shooters will be more on the costly side but I am a sucker for shooters. Sorry for all the requests I hope I am not bothering you with them. I just really like my import games. This should be the last request list from me before A-kon. lol
I haven't used ebay in 5 years and don't have the email I used to have for it. Shun_Ukiya2002 used to be my id on there when I bought stuff from you. I dont feel like going through the hassle of making a new one as I forgot my password due to lack of usage. So thats why I prefer to buy things from booths and the like.
Thank you for very much for your time.

Hey Van,
I usually always have Berserk in stock at conventions. I should have at least 1 or 2 copies for Akon and will set aside one for you to see
The dreamcast shooters are really hard to get right now in general. I don't know if I can get Karous by Akon. It is on the wii now, so I am not sure about demand to order more than 1 copy. I have a LE sega direct copy of Border Down right now with the mousepad. I might have the regular version by Akon. The LE version is very very sought after in Japan (sells for around 200 there) so it is hard to carry it and cover my costs.
I'm not sure if I will have Meltyblood Act Candenza Ver B. but I will try to have it by the show. Right now I mainly sell the Touhou shooters and fighters for the PC. Outside of that I have not really done much with PC stuff this year. I'll see what I can do.
I've got the other stuff noted and will try to get as much of it as i can. I should be able to tell you about 7-10 days before Akon what I have exactly.
Carlson

Re: Game Requests
Hi Carlson! Once I find a way to get into ACEN, I'm hoping to stop by and pick up the following from you:
Sonic R (Saturn) (J)
I know you had this at MGC, but I couldn't remember if my daughter wanted it or not. Turns out she did.
See you next week!

Re: Game Requests
Hey Carlson, due to most unfourtnate circumstances, my boyfriend Van will not be able to attend this years A-kon. He suddenly had some issues occur that would require surgery right before his trip here. I however still made some last minute arrangements to still be able to attend.
On his behalf I am to ask you if you can possible tell me what all you have available on our lists a bit in advance. This is due to the fact that I will be sent his money and will be picking it up for him as I will be going up to see him as he is recovering and give him his items.
I would like to know everything that you will have and everything that you most likely will be able to get from both lists and the prices of each one with the total of how much it will cost. I am sorry to have to ask this from you know but he needs to send me the money soon as he will be in the middle of surgery and recovering and will not be able to after his surgery in time for A-kon.
If you can tell me by the 14th as he should be able to reply by the 16th that would most helpful.
Again I am really very sorry, but this is stuff that he was looking forward to the most and was more than willing to drop just about every dollar on your booth.

Re: Game Requests
While this may be my first post, it's definitely not the first time I've bought from you guys. (Unfortunately, I couldn't get to AB, though I will be going to Otakon. And, so I can plan a budget (to blow, of course), I wanted to know approximate prices on a few systems, if I may.
The first one would be easy- a Japanese PS2. My modded PS1 for imports died, and rather than deal with yet another one, I'll just go straight to getting a Japanese system. (That, and the doorway to more PS2 games opens up...)
The second one I'm guessing would be doable, though very tough- an FDS. There's this little obsessive-compulsive person in me saying to get one. (It was the same person in me who just had to buy that demo Chrono Trigger cart last year.) A game or 2 to go with it would be ideal, but I guess that could come later... :P
The third, I'm guessing is harder still, and I might not even be able to afford, but I am curious if it's even possible, and that's one of the old Nintendo Color TV Game systems. The Block Kuzushi one is the one that intrigues me the most, but really, I think I just want to have one in general.
EDIT: As for games in general, there are a couple that I am looking for, and I don't think they'll be too hard. First one is a relatively new game, Nanashi no game on the DS. Then, on the Super Famicom, Brandish 2. I would prefer the expert version, though would take either. Next, would be Treasure of Rudora. And before I leave the SFC, there are more Atlus games I want, specifically Majin Tensei II, Shin Megami Tensei 1, and Kyuuyaku Megami Tensei. Staying with Atlus on other systems, there's the SMT Devil Children series on Game Boy Color (and Advance), and moving into Sony land, Growlanser 1 on the PS1, plus Maken Shao on PS2. Yeah, I know it's a lot, but I don't expect you to be able to get it ALL before Otakon. I'm at least hoping for a few...

Re: Game Requests
Whoops, posted the following yesterday in the wrong thread, sorry!
Hey, last minute I know, but I'd mentioned last time I saw you guys, I think it was TooManyGames, if you could bring some Gegege no Kitaro stuff to Otakon? Famicom, Super Famicom, DS (though I know you said you don't really have DS), whatever you've got! Also, if you've got the Parodious Collection for PSP, I'd love to pick that up. See you again at Otakon!

Re: Game Requests
Bit of an odd request with this one, atm I am searching for a "knock-off" ( made with legitimate hardware oddly enough ) a "Treamcast" (a portmaneau of the words travel+ dreamcast ) the units were made in Hong Kong with actual dreamcast hardware only slightly altered to eliminate regional lockouts and they made a custom case for the unit that encompasses ( usually ) a 5" lcd screen ( the S.E. or special edition black models have a 5" active matrix tft lcd display. ) if you can find this Carlson you will be handsomely rewarded ( especially if it is the S.E. black model with case and controllers )
These units are becoming exceedingly hard to find stateside and alas my resources seem to have completely dried up altogether.

Re: Game Requests
Watch me resurrect this thread!
Hi Carlson,
I'm looking for the following games:
Tails Adventure (Game Gear)
Sonic Triple Trouble (Game Gear), aka Sonic & Tails 2
Another copy of Sonic R for Sega Saturn (JP)
I'll be at ACEN on May 16th with my daughter again, so she gave me this list of games to look for. We'll stop by!

Re: Game Requests
Not a game request but more of a "thank you"... Based on your recommendation, I've played Crisis Force on the Famicom a few times now after buying it from you, Carlson, and it has turned out to be an excellent shmup! It definitely reminds me of some of the TG16 shmups out there.
I'd expect it to show up at the next MGC in one shape or form.
Later.
