I found it hilarious that you had both Mirror's Edge and double dipping games both on your top five, because this past weekend, Mirror's Edge was $5 on Steam, so I ended up double dipping on it. Good comedic timing.

I figured someone would have mentioned the Uncharted as a rental because it's not very long and it could be completed in two playthroughs (for the platinum)

On one hand, I can completely understand where you're coming from on this but at the same time, I have a really hard time agreeing. I've played the first Uncharted twice now, and I enjoyed it so much as a fun experience that I could definitely see myself coming back to it sometime down the road for a nostalgia feel. There might not be anything left to "accomplish," but there's nothing left for me to try in a lot of the final fantasies I've played and I still manage to go back to them.

Re: The Goo, Episode 57 "Noid": 6.20.2010
Alright guys, I'm going to go ahead and admit now that I sent in the top 5 but completely forgot to send in my top 5. I'll buy a beer or some Sailor for you sometime possibly at InDisFest? Anyways here is my top 5.
5. Heavy Rain – I feel like after you play this game once you get the experience of it. I just don’t feel that this game has too much replay value; story was good to experience once now I’m good.
4. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2 – These games are quick to play through and I don’t feel like there is much left after beating the games that would make me want to play it.
3. Tomb Raider Series – These games are a lot like Heavy Rain where I think that the novelty of the story is experienced once. The story in these is not as good as
2. Blur – This goes for most racing games actually, very few racing games I feel have lots of stuff for you to do after the fact. I’m not bashing this game, I just don’t feel it offers a whole lot to keep me coming back. With things like ModNation Racers there will always be new tracks, which is lots of fun to me(minus the load times).
1. Battlefield Bad Company – In this first game I had a really good experience playing through the story but when on the multiplayer I just didn’t have as much fun as I have had compared to other multiplayer FPS games.
Great show this week again as always! Sorry I spaced on sending in my Top 5 for this show, maybe next time.

Re: The Goo, Episode 57 "Noid": 6.20.2010
Brief rebuttal regarding Mirror's Edge: the time trials were part of the plain vanilla game, the DLC just extended the mode with new courses. The first DLC course was even free for PS3.
I think this game should only be considered rental-only, if a person isn't interested in building any kind of skills. The whole appeal is to get amazing at free-running. The best indicator was its demo: people who only played the demo stage once should go rental, I played that stage over and over again in pursuit of greatness. I spend close to 30 hours on the retail version including platinuming it. I always giggle when people complain about the armed resistance, because when you're able to complete the whole game in 90 minutes on hard then you're so fast that once the scripted events drop the bad guys on the scene you're already gone
Thanks for recording on such a crazy schedule, much appreciated. Good one.

Gah! Die Another Day is the one with Halle Berry...Tomorrow Never Dies is the one with Michelle Yeoh. Goldeneye was the best of the Pierce Brosnan's...so there are your three Bond films worse than Goldeneye
A View to a Kill (Moore's last outing) was pretty bad too, despite having Christopher Walken.
