Re: Post your questions for the developers of MLB 10 The Show
In what ways specifically do you plan to improve the online play this year?

Re: Post your questions for the developers of MLB 10 The Show
1..Do you plan to add on to the great physics of the controlling from MLB09..
2..I heard rumors of real time game presentations played during the game, can you elaborate on what type of new feature this is and how it is used during the game.
3..Do you plan to add DLC or updates to player changes like players being traded or sent to minor league .
4..Last question any miracle chance you can get Mark A.K.A. Savory Cade to play against Torgo in this game and possibly like baseball for once...

Re: Post your questions for the developers of MLB 10 The Show
I ask this question everywhere I can
When I trade a player is it possible for the player's hat in his picture to change to his new team? I ask because I tend to make a lot of trades and when the lineups are shown it looks like I am playing in an Allstar game or something. I like to steal players from the Marlins and that logo looks bad in my White Sox lineup.
If the answer is no, can you guys in the weekly roster updates do that for the real major league trades?
Also in RTTS(Road To The Show) I like to make a catcher and fielding that position seems to be bare. I hear this year that position is improved if so how is it improved? My main problem fielding that position is dealing with picking up bunts it can get clunky sometimes with the catcher unable to pick up the ball.

Re: Post your questions for the developers of MLB 10 The Show
1) In MLB10 can we skip baserunning and fielding in RTTS? its fun when you have time, but most of the time i just want to go out there and bat, and it gets really annoying when you cant do it..
- and please don't try to pick the world series winner through the simulation this year, you know Yankees always win..ALWAYS BABY!!!

Re: Post your questions for the developers of MLB 10 The Show
All my questions extend to road to the show which is pretty much the only mode I play.
1. Will the RTTS for 2010 have minor league teams extended past AA to single A etc?
2. Has the RTTS been tweaked so your player doesn't sit out every third game and then asked to pinch hit, ruining any chance of getting a long hit streak?
3. Will there be in 2010 or in a future edition, an online mode 9v9?
And a note for the developers, I will be importing this day 1, best sports series I've ever played (and I don't know much about baseball) Beats FIFA hands down!

The Mets lowered the center field wall at Citi Field from 16 feet to 8 feet. Will there be an update for that in the game?

Re: Post your questions for the developers of MLB 10 The Show
ok, now that this thread is up, I can ask these;
I have a few questions for the makers of MLB the show
1. Are there going to be environment controls? For example, adjust time of day, wind speed and direction, overcast/clear sky?
2. Also, as someone who lives near Toronto, if I'm playing as the blue jays at home, will I be able to open or close the dome at the Rogers Centre/Skydome?
3. I haven't played any of the past "the shows" but have been really interested in picking up '10 due to all the torgohype. I'm not even that much of a baseball fan, but I love good sports games. What can you tell someone that has never played one of your games to inspire them to go out and purchase one?
4. It's obvious that you guys really give a damn about baseball, and I feel that is a necessity when making a sports game, you must be passionate about it in order to do it right. With that said...
Can you please make an NHL game? I'm tired of those monkeys making the NHL and 2K series screwing everything up and releasing the same tired versions of the same tired game with little to no improvement from one game to the next. We need a crew that is passionate about hockey (or sports in general) to make a game for us.
And who knows, if you guys make it Torgo might actually put it in the running for a minecart next year. If he can get over that "it's only on versus", yeah, well, in Canada hockey gets aired on TSN, Sportsnet, CBC, AND Versus. Whaddaya think of dem apples?
Sorry, got a little ranty there. Thanks for taking my questions. Go Leafs! Underachieving since 1967, but at least we're not the Cubs

Re: Post your questions for the developers of MLB 10 The Show
Here are my questions so far:
1. Is it possible to transfer season/Franchise stats between the PSP and the PS3? I'm pretty sure this is a long shot, however, I promise I will buy a PSP if this is possible!
2. Are the vintage stadiums that are available for pre-order going to be available as an unlock in the game itself? If so, how? Will you have to get all the trophies to unlock the stadiums?
3. Are you planning on having more vintage/old school stadiums added to the game?
4. How has the players physics changed? Especially during the base running and player collisions.
5. Will the new Movie Highlight mode allow users to upload their videos from their PS3 directly to the MLB 10 website?
6. What issues have you taken to fix the online play?
7. I heard there is a new pick-off system when you play as the catcher. Can you give a little more detail about that?
That's all I have for now...

Re: Post your questions for the developers of MLB 10 The Show
Homer question-
I reviewed a list of the throw back stadiums but didn't see Milwaukee County Stadium listed. Any plans to include it in the future?
Non homer question-
In my opinion MLB The Show is leaps and bounds better than the competition. That being said I'm sure it's still important to keep tabs on what the competitors are doing. What if anything have you added or changed to the series as a result of what the competition is doing?
