Not many people could do what Victor Sandberg of Stockholm, Sweden just did... play 71 hours straight on one video game. The lofty goal attempt was actually 100 hours, but 71 hours is still nothing short of amazing!
The attempt was live streamed in its entirety over Twitch.tv with an integrated bonus city/level and million points counter that Sandberg was able to enter as he played (See the little keyboard contraption in the middle of the control panel in some of the pictures). This was a very innovative attempt, as he was able to track his own progress for comparison to previous attempts.
The record run ended when he ran out of cities around 3 a.m EST on Dec. 30th with over 71 hours under his belt. He blew away his previous world record.
Prior to official verification, Sandberg was able to achieve 103 million points, over 10,400 levels, and 40 killscreens with a play time of 71 hours, 41 minutes and 51 seconds.

Congratulations! Now, get some sleep, Victor. You deserve it!
